Successful summer fieldwork season draws to a close

Oct 18, 2016

A successful 2016 summer fieldwork season for BUG drew to a close at the end of September.

The BUG team have been busy in the field throughout the summer months, working on a diverse range of projects – from surveying black bog ants in the new Forest to long-term monitoring of water quality in an urban lake.

The summer field season culminated in successful fish surveys at the Blashford Lakes in Hampshire and a series of electric fishing surveys throughout a number of streamsĀ in the New Forest.

Take a look at our Projects page forĀ some examples of what we’ve been up to.
