Chris Packham's Bioblitz comes to the River Lab, and BUG was on the fish trail

BUG’s Adrian Pinder and Andy Harrison spent a sunny day at the River Laboratory in East Stoke on the River Frome, attempting to record as many fish species as possible for Chris Packham’s UK Bioblitz.

A total of 14 fish species were recorded on the day using a variety of direct capture and observational methods, and Adrian and Andy were able to discuss many fish conservation issues with Chris and the Bioblitz team. Below are a selection of photos from a very successful day.
